Two Spanish musicians: guitarist Amidea Clotet and Marcel·lí Bayer – playing saxophones (mainly baritone and alto), bass clarinet and flutes.
They have been working as a duo since 2019, exploring various sounds and textures that can be extracted from their instruments using unconventional articulation methods. Their electrifying album “Dual Polarity” (2022) is a dose of raw, very intense music, where harmonies race with the speed of sound waves. A girl from Andalusia and a boy from Catalonia, charged with solar energy, will perform during the closing concert of this year’s edition of the Krakow Jazz Autumn.
