An intimate and unobtrusive dialogue between two improvisers: bassist Marcin Bożek and Japanese violist Marie Takahashi. Bożek is a well-known musician in Poland, improviser, founder and conductor of the Gdynia Improvisers Orchestra, co-founder of the Olbrzym and Kurdupel duo. Takahashi is a composer and improviser specializing in contemporary and baroque music. The musicians met five years ago, and the bond that emerged between them resulted in the album “Sadoil” released this year. It is a muted material based on the creation of various textures, string and string sounds, emphasizing all roughness, grating and rustling. We will immerse ourselves in this world in the last week of November during the duo’s improvised concert at Alchemia.
