This year’s edition brings together artists from Poland, Austria, Germany, France, Finland, Japan, Czechia, Denmark and Taiwan. The invited musicians include Mikołaj Trzaska, Marek Pospieszalski, Peter Ole Jørgensen, Shih-Yang Lee, Susanna Gartmayer and Anna Kaluza.
The programme explores different strands of contemporary improvised music, from free jazz and the European tradition of free improvisation to more experimental approaches that bring improvisation into dialogue with electronics, contemporary composition and the music of Hildegard of Bingen.
