Gaweda and the Vikings is a new international collaboration between Warsaw based band leader Mateusz Gaweda (PL), Simon Albertsen (NO) and Bardur Reinert Poulsen (FO).
The members of the trio are active professionals on the jazz scenes of Poland, Denmark and Norway, and all part of the new shaping of the European jazz scene on different fronts. In this new band they are exploring their different cultural and musical references with their own original compositions and plenty of improvisation.
